M. de Vena, also known as Human Hydra, is an artist living and working in Northern California. M.’s detailed drawings are inspired by symbolism, mythology, deviation, cultural anthropology, gender identity and nature. Stylistically M.’s drawings remind me of traditional Japanese art, or even classic Egyptian murals. The influences combined with M.’s talent create a beautiful portfolio of work, illustrations you will look at again and again and discover something new every time.
Thanks for reading! What do you think of M.’s work?
