Narrative, totemic animals portrayed by Erich J. Moffitt

If I wouldn’t spend all my spare time on Bleaq I’d definitely start a blog like Cute Overload or Bored Panda: I love animals. That’s why I’m easily intrigued by artists who use animals in their art: there’s so much expression and symbolism to be found in the animal world! Seattle based artist Erich J. Moffitt paints fables, told with totemic animals archetypes and talismanic objects. I love the surreality of his works, and am fascinated by the stories his works tell. Erich traveled through Europe with his family when he was a child, the place where he picked up his love for art and fascination for the rich cultural legacies of Old World Europe and 21st century America.

You can find more of Erich’s work on his website, Facebook page and Instagram. Enjoy!
