Samantha Sealy is an experimental photographer from Connecticut, USA. Samantha works with film only, and likes to experiment with in and out of camera manipulation, especially with destructive processes. Recently Samantha started working with instant film as well, creating Polaroid images and enhancing them with her handwriting, or using the chemicals contained in the film to destroy parts of the image. I enjoy Samantha’s vision a lot: with her destructive techniques she gives an edge to her images, as if they want to tell more than only the person, landscape or element she portrayed.
