Archer Dougherty is an artist living and working in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There’s a lot of diversity in Archer’s portfolio, both in style as in technique of choice. From monochrome portrait sketches to art-nouveau inspired illustrations, from realistic, sober portraits to more complex, surreal paintings: it’s all there. I love when artists explore various styles and techniques: it’s one thing to be good at one, it’s another to succeed in several! Archer succeeds in having a varied portfolio yet keeping her own distinctive style, something I’m sure will inspire many (young) artists.
