There’s something about the photographs by Toronto/Montreal based artist Rebecca Cairns. Often displaying a natural, simple sight or scene her work never looks simple. Rebecca experiments with her work, both while photographing (using double exposure and movement for instance) and in her processing afterwards. Stains, light-leaks or deep scratches: all her work has a worn, deconstructed feel which makes it come alive and give the pieces a mysterious vibe. Enjoy!
Thank you for reading! What do you think of Rebecca’s work?
I love her work.
