Nature or wildlife photography might seem like fun, it’s actually a lot of hard work. You might have to hide in an uncomfortable tent for days before that one rare bird you are waiting for shows up, or it might even not show up at all. One thing I dislike about most nature and wildlife photography is that it portrays an almost too perfect picture: the images often look too good to be true. This isn’t the case with the nature photography of Rafael M. Milani, a photographer based in São Paulo, Brasil. Not that his work isn’t good, quite the contrary, it’s just a lot more real. Grim and dark, Rafael’s work shows the silence of the forest at night. I love how the mysterious, dark character of Rafael’s pictures compliments the reality of making a nocturnal nature walk. Be quiet and look closely, you might spot some wildlife! ;) Enjoy!
Thanks for reading! What do you think of Rafael’s work?
