Nadja Sveir is a photographer from Russia who mostly photographs on film. When I got in touch with Nadja she told me that she mostly uses a Nikon camera and film, but doesn’t really care about what camera she holds in her hands: it’s the vision that counts. I couldn’t agree more, photography comes from the heart, not from technology. Anyway, on to Nadja’s work. The grain in Nadja’s analog work gives her pieces an uncanny vibe, a vibe which gets magnified by her cloaked models, gloomy landscapes and flirts with a supernatural dimension. Enjoy!
