It takes skill to make a good collage: you take images other people created and told a story with, combine them, and tell your own – often completely different – story. This is why I love collage artists: you need to have a great eye to be one! Emir Šehanović grew up in Tuzia, Bosnia Herzegovina, where he was a local street artist called Aorta. Emir’s medium of choice today are collages and assemblages, which he uses to share his fascination for pagan tradition, superstition and the occult. His work is deeply mysterious, dark and mysterious and – just take a look below – stunning. Enjoy!
Thank you for reading! What do you think of Emir’s work?
