Emily Soto is a fashion photographer from New York who uses both digital and analog photography to create dreamy, romantic editorial work. The alternation between the two techniques is a real highlight in her portfolio for me: it’s gives the series character and proves once again that it isn’t up to the camera to take a good shot – it’s up to the photographer. All Emily’s work seems to be shot in ‘The Golden Hour’ – those hours in early morning or late afternoon when the sun stands low and gives a beautiful warm light and long shadows. This soft lighting combined with the romantic styling and sensual looks of the models give Emily’s portfolio a romantic vibe perfect for summer days like today. Enjoy!
