Mysterious, feminine digital portraits by Cezar Brandao

Although 3D art took a spurt in the last years I think it’s one of the hardest forms of illustration: especially when including human figures it’s hard to break the barrier and create an emotional connection with the subject. There are some artist who are exploring 3D rendered portraits, my favorite is Brazilian artist Cezar Brandao. His mysterious, feminine portraits show his muses floating through digital darkness. I love his use of color, and the soft glow that makes his pieces loose that hard edge you often see in 3D work. Enjoy!
