Bleak, grainy portraits by Arslan Ahmedov

It’s always amazing to find an artist creating the most haunting, mysterious pieces with little supplies. The works of today’s featured artist, Bulgarian photographer Arslan Ahmedov, are exactly like that. Still lifes and simple portraits can be boring, but with Arslan’s pieces this is never the case. His classic compositions in combination with grain and texture give his work a haunting, dark glow that might be a bit too gloomy for a summer day like today. Oh well, nothing like some fantastic dark art to start a sunny day, right? Enjoy!
