Canadian photographer Anne-Christine Normand has a beautiful mission: capturing the world while removing all references to places and time. Her work shows haunting scenery, sometimes paired with anonymously displayed figures staring in the mist. I really like how she succeeds in her mission statement: even though Anne-Christine lives in a different continent I have a strong feeling of recognition while looking at the photos. I couldn’t pin down the location though, which gives the photographs a sense of mystery I think you will appreciate. Enjoy!
