If Bleaq were an actual gallery the show this week would be amazing: the artist I’m sharing with you today is a perfect match to Juana Gómez’s work I featured earlier this week. Juan Osorno is an illustrator from Medellín, Colombia, who draws dreamy, clean anatomical portraits. There’s something disconcerting about Juan’s work: while the style and shading is very realistic there are often dreamlike elements that enhance the image. The combination of beautiful natural elements like geometric shapes, constellations and the human body make very interesting images, showing a deeper, more emotional, layer than the images you find in anatomical books.
Thank for reading! What do you think of Juan’s work?
