Ellen Wilberg is an artist born and raised in rural Norway, currently living and working in Oslo. Ellen has always been exploring her creativity, attending various courses and schools since she was a child. She found her creative outlet in photography, but nowadays prefers to draw and paint. Ellen’s work is very peaceful: soft and feminine portraits of solitary creatures in a natural environment. I love how Ellen uses color to enhance her portraits: even though they often look bright and fresh there’s a sense of bleakness and melancholy hidden in these works that gets me every time.
