David Uzochukwu is an Austro-Nigerian photographer living and working in Brussels, Belgium. David’s portfolio contains a mix of impressive portraits and self-portraits, intense photographs that show a surreal glimpse at the personality of the portrayed. David picked up photography at the age of ten when he fell in love with his mother’s camera and never left the craft again. Still very young (David was born in 1998), it’s fascinating to see the development he went through since he started working, perfecting his style step by step. David on his fascination for photography:
“What really intrigues me is that photography – like all other art forms – can be so universal that you can be touched by a picture that someone else has created. Furthermore you can make the images in your head become reality. This amazes me again and again.”
