Sven Signe den Hartogh is an artist from the Netherlands. Sven’s not bound to one technique, yet always sticks to his dreamy, psychedelic aesthetic as his signature style. His photo-montages range from showing a distorted reality to almost otherworldly and intergalactic, from monochrome to extremely colorful. I love how Sven uses geometry in combination with images, despite the natural subjects of his photos the harsh shapes blend in really well.
Next to the psychedelic photo-montages Sven also has an impressive photography portfolio. I’m especially fond of his Impossible series, a series shot on Polaroid film. The grainy, dreamy Polaroid film fits Sven’s aesthetic like a glove.
