Today’s artist proofs that melancholy doesn’t always have to be portrayed in a muted color palette! Lioba Brückner is an artist living and working in Oberhausen, Germany, who captures melancholy and natural elements into colorful paintings. Lioba is inspired by many different things, ranging from Japan, science fiction, nature and both classic and contemporary art. These themes create an interesting mix of influences, resulting in unique portraits of women and animals.
