Jesse Draxler is an artist living and working in Los Angeles. Jesse’s work could be described as collages, yet I prefer to call them image manipulations. Jesse starts with an already bleak image (often a picture by photographer Jen Whitaker) and makes the image ever darker by adding a layer of manipulation or distortion. The resulting images are creepy and grotesque portraits of humanity, mostly in black and white or a pale color palette.
You can find more of Jesse’s work on his website and Instagram. Enjoy!
