While scrolling through the blogposts from last week I noticed I’ve been thinking a bit black and white lately: where’s the colour? Well, here it is! Samantha Mash is an illustrator from Portland who creates beautifully sober yet colourful illustrations. In an interview with Abduzeedo Samantha states she’s influences by a lot of different artists, from the classical Pre-Raphaelite John William Waterhouse to modern influences like Japanese animation and illustrator James Jean. I love how Samantha mixes influences from these styles together, and creates her own, unique style. Enjoy!
Thanks for reading! What do you think of Samantha’s work?
