By looking at the drawings of American illustrator Ryan Salge you would suspect he’d live somewhere cold and north instead of sunny San Jose, California. But if you see the photo series at his Behance profile you will see that even sunny California can inspire haunting work: Ryan regularly shares photos taken at night or with a fog creeping over the land. It’s that haunting, mysterious vibe you can find in his drawings as well. The images almost look like vintage photographs with their soft focus and detail put into the lighting and shadows. Enjoy!
