Joanne Nam is an artist currently living and working in Los Angeles. Joanne’s paintings portray mostly vulnerable looking girls in a natural habitat, sunken in their thoughts. I love the fragile look of the girls, the portrayal is so intimate it almost feels like you’re spying on them. Next to that I love how Joanne uses a cold, winter-like color palette, which makes her work eerie and remarkable. Enjoy!
