Jacek Chodzinski is an illustrator from Poland. When I first looked at Jacek’s work I immediately thought of Jan Toorop, one of my favorite Dutch artists. The figures in his pieces remind me of the people in Toorop’s symbolic work, for instance the beautiful ‘O grave, where is thy victory’. Another reference is the anatomical feel of H. R. Giger: the organic, twisted alien-like bodies and weird anatomy. Together with an eerie and dark subject these drawings turn out to fascinating. Enjoy!
