Eerie crochet animal skeletons by Caitlin T. McCormack

If I told you last week I’d be featuring crochet work today you probably would have looked at me weird. Really? Crochet? But just take a look at these works by Philadelphia based artist Caitlin T. McCormack and you will immediately understand why I am excited to share her work with you!

Caitlin creates beautiful, vintage looking, crochet animal skeletons. The use of crochet as technique give the sculptures a fragile, lace-like appeal; the loose threads make them eerie – maybe even a bit spooky. Enjoy!
