A grim view on mortality and eternal existence by Brandon Geurts

A few months ago I organized a giveaway on Instagram with Below Shop. One of the prints you could win was by artist Brandon Geurts. I stumbled upon one of his works again recently, and realized that I never featured his work here on Bleaq. Shame on me! So here it finally is: the works of Brandon Geurts.

Brandon was born in Dayton, Ohio, and now resides in Tampa, Florida. In his work Brandon tries to confront himself with the fear of his own mortality, and the thought of everything and everyone that exists in this universe infinitely recurring and continue to do so across infinite time and space. Knowing this you can see Brandon’s point of view in his pieces: some breathe hope and warmth through vibrant, earthly color schemes, whilst others are solely dark and grim. Enjoy!
