Confession time: I’m not that good with fashion. I can tell you who my favorite designers are and know which aesthetics I like to wear (black, layered and draped) but I’m always excited to get fashion advice or tips from fashionistas who do know about style. I mentioned my favorite fashion blogs FAIIINT and Hyper Stylized (previously Ange Deforme) several times now, and thought it was time to share some more. These six lovely alternative/gothic fashion blogs are among my favorites. Enjoy!
Bones & Lilies
Bones & Lilies is the style blog of Karoliina from Finland. Karoliina rocks her black outfits with her amazing bright pink hair (she had every color of the rainbow, just look at her hair history!). I love how she dresses up for parties (and applies gorgeous make-up) but adore her more comfy, at-home outfits. Her simple style is layered and black but always with a fashionable twist. If you’re not already following her on Bloglovin make sure to do so: she has a bunch of super cute cats as well! :)
Adele Psych
Adele Psych is one-of-a-kind: I’ve never thought I’d follow a fashion blog featuring lots of panther prints, latex and patent leather. Yet I do. Adele has a great eighties Goth-vibe, her outfits look like a lot of fun. Next to her blog Adele also has her own fashion label, so make sure to check out her online store if you like her style. You can stay up to date on Adele’s adventures by following her on Facebook or Instagram.
Desperate Hell
Another beauty from Finland, Susanna from Desperate Hell could easily be an alternative model. Maybe not as extravagant as earlier mentioned Adele, I love her more ready-to-wear approach to fashion. Always simple, yet stylish: Susanna has great taste. You can follow Susanna on Instagram if you like to stay up to date.
Olivia Emily
I’m sure she gets sick of hearing it, but to me Oliva Emily looks like a rock-chick version of Game of Thrones favorite Sansa Stark. With her gorgeous pale skin and red hair she is stunning, and she picks great outfits. I also really like her writing style, she comes across as a very sweet girl with a daring taste in fashion.
Feeling Vague
You would’t thing green lipstick would look flattering on anyone, would you? Well, it does, and Amber from Feeling Vague is living proof. Amber’s style differs quite a lot from my own, but I love how she makes everything she wears look fun.
The Walrus Room
Sarah from The Walrus Room is one of my latest fashion blog discoveries. I read through her older posts when I started following her, and enjoyed seeing how her style evolved from a Goth Lolita style to the more alternative, punky style she shows in her latest posts. I like how she tells about challenges in her fashion style, like tips on wearing a kimono or her struggles with a tartan maxi skirt. If you want to stay updated on Sarah’s post make sure to like The Walrus Room on Facebook.
That’s it for today, thanks for reading! What are your favorite fashion blogs? Feel free to share your suggestions, I always love to discover new talent. Have a nice weekend!
What about a little something for the boys?
I’d love that, but unfortunately I haven’t found any good alternative fashion blogs by guys :( Got a suggestion?
I was hoping you could help me find some, I’ve spent lots of time on tumblr and lookbook.nu to find that dark style guys tend not to develop a web presence like the ladies.
That’s such a shame :( I’m going to ask around and look for some, there must be guys out there with a style blog! Hopefully there will be a male counterpart of this article soon!
Brazilian blog about alt fashion :)

I have a friend that has an awesome GOTH/METAL fashion blog, you guys should check it out. I love her outfits and makeup tips, especially. Her name is Ariel and she is from Brazil also.

Hi all!
For those interested in male inclusive blogs – we make an effort to cover male fashion whenever possible. http://www.rebelsmarket.com/blog
YES! Please always share goth/grunge/alternative fashion blogs you find. I have such a hard time finding ones that resonate with me and I love every single one listed here. So excited to have some new fashion inspiration to peruse through!!!
I had to come back to this post and say that I’ve been a frequent reader of Bleaq and all these blogs since you posted this. It even inspired me to start my own alternative fashion blog. It’s more grunge/soft alt than goth but I really had to say thanks again for posting this because otherwise I would have never stepped into the space myself.
Yay! Thanks for sharing your blog Samantha :)
Wow. What a collection. for online corsets, you can go through online gothic clothing dress . I hope you will get here of your choice.
Dress
This is true that you have shared the very good collection of images like the color combination with the gothic dark black clothes. Blue Magik is also known for the alternative clothes as well.
Gothic Leggings
Thank you very much for sharing this post. I just recently followed Olivia Emily because she is so beautiful. I have some cute gothic clothes and accessories which I bought at Rebels Market, Gothic Shop and https://gothicfix.com/ . I would like to apply the way they wear those dresses and accessories. Thank you very much again.
The website https://brass-bandit.com/ will be launching an alternative fashion blog very soon this year if you’re interested in keeping your eyes pealed (:
I would add Gothic Blend.net for the daily looks aswell.
Wow it’s Really amazing. very thanks for sharing with us. https://www.thedarkattitude.com/
I find it interesting that this post mentioned that Gothic fashion is unique and has its own signature, such as sheer lining and of course, the color black. The other day my daughter mentioned that she would like to go as a Gothic Princess for a Halloween party end of the month. I will share with her this information so she has an idea of how to dress.
